JENNIFER ANISTON & JOHN MAYER GET INTIMATE 
According to eyewitnesses, John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other while swimming at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Miami. An eyewitness told E! News, "They looked like they were completely into each other. She put her arm around him while they were in the pool. It was intimate. They both looked so happy."

And unlike other dates, Aniston was not interested in hiding her new man. The eyewitness says, "They were in full view of everyone at the pool." Mayer flew down to Miami from New York in the middle of the week to join Aniston. She is there finishing up filming Marley & Me, which also stars Owen Wilson. After lounging out by the pool during the day, Aniston and Mayer went to the film's wrap party at Nikki Beach in South Beach, where Mayer performed three songs.

3 DOORS DOWN SPEEDS THINGS UP
3 Doors Down had a need for speed this weekend and it got fulfilled. At Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the southern rockers unveiled their No.88, National Guard, 3 Doors Down "Citizen Soldier," Amp Energy Chevrolet NASCAR. SARA BAREILLES GETS ON THE BUS
Before an artist becomes involved with all the glitz and glamour that goes with being famous, they have to pay their dues and Sara Bareilles' story is no different. In fact, even though her smash hit "Love Song" has long been popular, she told us that it wasn't until recently that she and her band got a little upgrade.

Sara said, "We spent the last year in a van and trailer and you know have been kind of road dogs for a while now and it's kind of nice because now we get to graduate to a bus, that's our next big endeavor, It's gonna be something that makes it easier for us to go out and do what were here to do you know to kind of take the pressure off of all the semantics of being on the road."

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND TO HELP FIND A CURE
Dave Matthews Band will be the next group to join the Stand Up For a Cure concert series, which is designed to raise awareness and money for lung cancer research. The band will play a show September 10th at Madison Square Garden with a limited number of tickets available to members of the group's fan club through their Web site, Warehouse.DaveMatthewsBand.com. Also slated to perform for the cause in venues around New York City are Jerry Sienfeld, Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and Andrea Bocelli. 

Bon Jovi kicked off the series February 12th from the Hammerstein Ballroom with a concert dedicated to guitarist Richie Sambora's father, who passed away from cancer last year.

MELLENCAMP TO USE CODE
Famed rocker John Mellencamp's new album Life, Death, Love, and Freedom will be released in a new high definition audio format called CODE.

According to Billboard.com, CODE technology, which was developed by T-Bone Burnett, who produced Mellencamp's album in its entirety, "creates high definition audio files that are virtually indistinguishable from the original masters." Because the new format may cause compatibility issues in some players, the album is going to be a double disc, with the standard edition on CD and the CODE edition on DVD. It will still be priced as if it were a single disc.
